I have been employed in the Paint and Coatings Industry for over 36 years. My tenure and involvement in the Industry included:- Paint Research and Development; Quality and Project Management; Education and Training , in small, medium and large enterprises. This culminated in me retiring as a Director and Shareholder of a medium sized paint manufacturer and distributor. Over the years, I have performed Site Inspections, prepared Technical Paint Specifications for bids and tenders, taken photographic documentation and prepared preliminary and evaluative Technical Reports, and carried out Product Design, Development, Manufacture, Evaluation/Testing and Technical Support where necessary. My expertise includes Paint and Paint Raw Materials Technical Training, Research and Development and Technical Support to Production, Marketing and Sales.

Professional History & Merits
Over the years I have represented various paint manufacturers on the SAPMA Executive Committee. As a SAPMA recognized Paint Expert in the Decorative coatings field, I have provided testimony and analysis in cases involving paint failures, done estimation, cost analysis, and quality assessments on paint jobs/work. I have also been involved in Paint Education and Training on an executive level with SAPMA, OCCA and CHIETA. As a SAATCA recognized Quality Auditor, I have been involved in Quality Systems Management and Auditing over the last 20-25 years. I have a successful track record in the monitoring and management of various Projects in Paint Research Labs around the country.
